If your child entering is 9th grade in September 2024 and and/or receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation, do not fill out this form as the requirements are different.
In addition to student registration, parents are also being asked to volunteer their time and talent if / when possible.
All volunteers in our Family Faith Formation Program must complete the Volunteer Application, read the "Archdiocese of Newark Policies on Professional and Ministerial Conduct," sign an acknowledgement form for the policies, complete a background check online, and attend a Protecting God's Children Workshop before the sessions begin.
Each family enrolled in the Family Faith Formation Program is asked to support the mission and ministries of the Archdiocese of Newark in the form of a single payment of $150 to the Archdiocesan Assessment. This payment is in addition to the total Religious Education fees and is a tax-deductible contribution.
Payments for fees and the Assessment may by paid online through ParishSoft Giving, which is our secure online giving platform or by personal check. If paying by check, we ask that a separate check be issued for the Archdiocesan Assessment, payable to St. Pius X, with "Assessment" written in the memo field.
All families will receive an acknowledgement that the registration has been received, and a confirmation, at a later date, that your child(ren) has/have been placed in a class once all the forms/payments have been reviewed.
A copy of a baptismal and birth certificate is required of all children who are new to our Religious Education program.
Please contact the Faith Formation office should you have any questions at 201-664-0927.
If you are new to the parish, or your child is entering First Grade in the Fall of 2024, contact the Faith Formation office either by phone (201-664-0927) or by email so that we may add your child(ren) to our registration list.
The fees for Religious Education will be submitted through ParishSoft Giving, our electronic giving service.
