As we journey in communion with the whole Church, we are invited to celebrate the upcoming Jubilee in 2025.This sacred time will be ushered in by Pope Francis on the holy night of Christmas, as he opens the Holy Door, marking the official start of the Jubilee.
This Jubilee is not limited to Rome but will extend across the globe, as the proclamation of God’s mercy invites a powerful opportunity for evangelization. We have received the joyful news that our parish has been appointed as the Pilgrimage Site for Bergen County in the Archdiocese of Newark by Bishop Michael A. Saporito.
As we prepare for this sacred year, we will dedicate three months to prayer and reflection, beginning onOctober 7th. This period offers us a chance to meditate on the texts proposed by the Holy Father and strengthen the domestic Church—the home—as a source of faith and hope. We are pilgrims of hope, and together, we will walk this journey toward the Jubilee, carrying the light of Christ into the world.
