We are constantly working to update the buildings and grounds of our church. Such improvements are often made possible by donations to the Heritage Fund. To make a one time gift, please click here: Heritage Fund
Here are a few examples of our most recent improvements:
August 2022: Our HVAC (heating and air conditioning) system was replaced after twenty-three years! We now have a high-efficiency system, which is not only environmentally greener, but also much more cost-efficient!
.
July 2022: We installed a 2,000 sq. foot basketball court. The playground will be installed by September, 2022.
July 2021: We had two 65-inch flat screens installed in the narthex, along with a 50-inch flat screen in our Family Chapel (which was formerly used for daily Mass.) The screens in the narthex will be used to promote parish events, to increase communication, and for family and parish gatherings. The screen in the chapel now offers a live-feed into the church (which can only be viewed within the church).
June 2021: The freezer in our parish kitchen went "kaputz." An anonymous donation to the Heritage Fund replaced it. Thanks for allowing us to continue feeding those in need!
April, 2021: We planted 21 new trees on campus, including 12 Kwanzan Cherries in our parking lot and the evergreen located at the church's entrance.
We also updated our sprinkler system, so that every tree is watered!
A special thanks to John Link for his help with removing the bird netting outside the parish offices and rectory, painting, pressure washing the entrance, and scrubbing down our welcome sign in May!
The air ducts in the rectory had not been cleaned in years. Thank you from a grateful pastor!
